The work towards the signature of the contracts for the twelve Open Science projects and services selected via the 2nd OSCARS Open Call is still ongoing, but seven are now ready to start between December 2025 and March 2026. The remaining five should follow shortly.
Out of the 12 projects, two projects relate to the ENVRI Science Cluster (Earth and Environmental Sciences), two to ESCAPE (Astronomy and Particle Physics), one to LS-RI (Life Sciences), two to PaNOSC (Photon and Neutron Science) and two to SSHOC (Social Sciences and Humanities).
The remaining three projects are either addressing challenges that are relevant across various Science Clusters or domains, and/or outside the domains covered by the clusters.

Finally, all selected projects will last 24 months. It is thus expected that all of them will be completed at the latest by the end of February 2028.
All funded projects, their scope and description, will be displayed in the dedicated section of our OSCARS website, at https://oscars-project.eu/projects/. as soon as the contract is signed and the content of the website approved. The first three are already there, the next ones will follow one by one, stay tuned!
